ASHIDA
ELECTRONICS (P) LTD., founded in 1970 by Mr.
Manohar Kulkarni, has patented much of it's equipment.
ASHIDA is the first company in India to develop a range
of static and numerical relays indigenously. ASHIDA is
also in the field of SCADA i.e. substation automation
system. The company has obtained ISO 9001:2008 certifications
from M/s. BVQI, U.K. since 1997 All the relays are type
tested for their vital parameters with the Central Govt.
(India) Laboratories, i.e. The Institute for Design of
Electrical Measuring instruments (IDEMI) & the Electronics
Regional Test Laboratory (ERTL). All these relays conform
to IEC 60255, IS-3231 & IS -8686-1987 & with other
relevant standards.
Infrastructure
Facilities Resources : ASHIDA ELECTRONICS (P)
LTD. has in-house Electronics Research and Development
laboratory for development of static and numerical relays.
The
laboratory is well equipped with development tools such
Emulators / Debuggers for development based on various
micro controllers and DSP processors from different semiconductor
manufactures, like ATMEL / TI / Microchips / Phillips
etc., Power system simulators and software tools. It has
got separate dedicated software programmers for development
of embedded software and high level software such SCADA
system and have implemented various relay protocols such
bas IEC 60870-5-103, DNP 3, Modbus and latest IEC 61850
etc.
