  • Protection functions include thermal overload (49), phase and ground overcurrent (50/51/51N/50N) with three stages each, sensitive earth fault (50SEF), inverse and definite time negative sequence overcurrent (46), high impedance restricted earth fault (64R), undercurrent (37), load jam (50LR), prolonged start (66), and breaker failure detection (50BF).
  • Additional motor-specific protections and features: emergency start, speed switch input, too many starts function, and comprehensive motor operation metrics (e.g., time to thermal trip, last start time/current, and motor runtime).
  • Monitoring and recording capabilities include metering functions, disturbance recording (5), event recording (512), fault recording (5 on HMI display), dual-color programmable target LEDs (8), and non-volatile memory.
  • Communication options: IEC 60870-5-103, MODBUS, and DNP3 protocols; separate SCADA communication port; PC front port for settings; and user-friendly keypad operation with a 16×2 backlit LCD display.
  • Advanced supervision and settings: trip circuit supervision, self-supervision of relay, programmable inputs/outputs, watchdog contact, CB close/trip via HMI, and password-protected settings.
